Ryan is one of the principal leaders of the class action team and is responsible for overseeing aspects of case administration, including counsel and court coordination, settlement implementation, the design and management of noticing and claims processing, budgeting, personnel management, disbursement, and quality assurance. With more than a decade of expertise, Ryan is engaged in each Simpluris matter to implement best practices and ensure successful execution.
Ryan has led and contributed to the administration for some of the largest and most complex anti-trust, consumer, regulatory, and securities settlements including notable matters such as In re: Takata Airbag Product Liability Litigation, In re: Volkswagen “Clean Diesel” Marketing, Sale Practices, and Product Liability Litigation, Comenity Bank FDIC Consent Order Remediation, the Washington State Chicken and Tuna Price Fixing Settlements, the Auto Parts Antitrust Litigation Direct Purchaser Class Actions, Klein et al v. Bain Capital Partners, LLC et al., Walter Energy Securities Litigation, In re Zynga Inc. Securities Litigation, Fernandez v. Knight Capital Group, Inc et al., Collier v. Moduslink Global Solutions, Inc. et al., Schuler v. The Medicines Co., et al., In re Maxwell Technologies Inc., Securities Litigation, and Shomroni v. Fei Labs Inc., et al.
In addition to claims administration, Ryan has worked in LegalTech as a Client Success Manager at DISCO, in Austin, TX, startup consulting as a Strategy & Innovation Manager at Quesnay, in New York, NY, financial services as a Supplier Risk Analyst at Citi, in Tampa, FL, and as an Executive Consultant at GHL Systems, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Ryan is a graduate of the Harvard Business Analytics Program and has received his Juris Doctor from Frederic G. Levin College of Law at the University of Florida, a Master of Science in Management from Hough Graduate School of Business at the University of Florida, and a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from the University of Florida.
